Uplifting & Enlivening Oil

Ho Leaf (Linalool ct.) Cinnamomum Camphora  is a member of the Lauraceae family.  The essential oil is produced by distillation of the leaves and twigs of the tall evergreen tree found in Taiwan, Japan and China.

The essential oil adds aromatic sweet and floral nuances to many perfumes.

The pleasing aroma boasts an unusual calming and balancing effect on emotions. This makes Ho Leaf a very popular choice for the treatment of anxiety, depression and low mood.

On an energetic level, Ho leaf has a positive effect on weariness, whilst reducing fatigue it can support those with many problems.

Ho Leaf is now widely used as an alternative to the Rosewood.  Rosewood is endangered with the deforestation of the Amazon rain forests.

Rosewood and Ho Leaf both hold similar properties with like for like uses in Aromatherapy.  Unfortunately, today the Ho Leaf trees are also in danger as a direct result from the ongoing climate changes.

This has therefore caused the price to rise rapidly due to a the chinese government’ ban on harvesting the trees.
