Avocado Oil (Persia americana) extracted from the Avocado pears, first discovered in South American swamps. Swamps are a natural habitat for Alligators and hence, the fruits became known as alligator pears.
The Crude oil is produced mechanical pressing of the flesh of Avocado fruit. The texture of the oil is viscous, thick and light green, as opposed to ‘true cold pressed dark green’ avocado oil.
Properties:
- Rich in proteins and unsaturated fats,
- Healthy omega-3 fatty acids, sterol, sterolin and antioxidants.
- Importantly it contains Vitamins A, B, D and Lecithin.
