Turmeric Curcuma Longa

Turmeric Curcuma Longa, a  medicinal and culinary spice has been used for over 4000 years .  Steam distillation is the process used to create this yellow essential oil after that it has a vast range of uses. The turmeric rhizome is native to Asia, and in addition as with ginger can be used in Ayurvedic medicine. Turmeric Curcuma Longa was used in religious ceremonies in South East Asia therefore it is very popular . Many of the active compounds contained in Turmeric are highly beneficial for optimum health, for example ingested in curries in Asia.

Turmeric contains  these properties :

• Anti-microbial refers to turmeric being effective in killing microbial bacteria.

• Anti-protozoal and anti-aging properties.

• Turmeric will boost the immune system whilst relieving congestion in the liver.
• In skin care, taking capsules improves ailments such as acne rosacea and psoriasis.
• The oil will also boost cognitive function and reduce pain.
